I found blossom-end rot in some of my tomatoes and was super worried my whole crop would be affected, but it appears that it was only the three tomatoes pictured in the previous post that had blossom-end rot and everyone else has survived my frequent watering. I’ll keep my tomatoes on the dry side from now on!
A handful of my tomatoes got these brown bottoms during this heatwave in Melbourne (4 days in a row over 42 degrees), and one of my chillies too. Most are fine. What did I do? Too much water? Too little water? Too much nutrients? Nutrient deficiency? Or just too hot? I hope it doesn’t happen to any more of these precious little babies!
